Spotted when heading to work with my sister.
Driven by a local student. Not a perfect ride, but I'm hoping she's into cars, because this is the perfect first car for that.

lol she better be into something, you dont just drive a 505 as daily transportation and not care. Wow an STX too. Besides for a few dents and some yellowed headlight surrounds it looks pretty damn good!

those are some goofy headlights. Sealed beams with plastic surroundings. Weird.

made to give it roughly the same look as the euro lights instead of using round sealed beams. I made my surrounds light up with some crafty wiring but this is what they were going for
versus the old US spec

You can thank the DOT for that, it wasn't until the mid 90's that anything other than a sealed beam (circular or square) was allowed in the US. I assume this was Peugeot's attempt to satisfy the US DOT without redesigning the front end.

Somehow, they both look pretty good. But the top one looks a bit better.

I'm actually a big fan of the sealed beams on my jeep. There is no plastic to fog up/yellow. It doesn't work for things that aren't a jeep, stylewise.

some people really dig on the roundies. I liked them on my 504, but I put yellows in the high beam position (sorry about the crazy small pic)

Selective yellow. So French.

I really dig those rear speakers actually. That thing is damn fine.
Much like my shop is slowly convincing me to enjoy BMW, you're slowly convincing me to try out a Frenchwoman someday.
If I ever find a 505 Wagon in good enough shape, you'll be the first to know.
